Just warming up Steven! Glebe's hills will pale into veritable molehills in comparison with the foot-hills of Everest, where, heaven-help-me, I'm heading in 8 weeks... so I'm ploughing up Wigram road daily and doing runs up and down any available stair-cases... your stories of cycling and travel are inspirational to me as I go about my training.
Fabulous photos Kyle. Good luck with your conditioning. Carrying loaded backpack are you? It'll be an awesome trip with awesome photo oppurtunities! xx
Hey Meme, yes, working up to the fully laden back-pack... we will have porters, but need to carry a day-pack... at the moment I'm working out my 'layering' of clothing so I don't get over-heated or chilled from cooling sweat! Have had some good advice from seasoned Nepali trekkers, re wearing wool, not cotton, so this morning's effort was a great improvement! The shoes are working out a dream!
Lovely images. You have a good eye for composition. The XZ-1 looks like it produces those nice Oly colors. I'm very tempted to take the plunge for the camera.
1. Happiness, Contentment:(felicidad). 2. Luck: (suerte) 'por ventura' = luckily 'Buena ventura' = good fortune told by gypsies and travelling mystics. 'Probar ventura' = to try one’s fortune, to venture at, on, or upon. 3. Contingency, casualness, happenstance, adventure: 'a la (buena) ventura' = at random;without a fixed plan. 4. Future: that which is to come.

In the beginning there was The Tao - the great unknowable mystery.
The Tao gave rise to Yin & Yang. Yin & Yang gave rise to the Ten Thousand Things.
The Tao is like a well: used but never used up.
It is like the eternal universe: filled with infinite possibilities.
In dwelling, - live close to the ground. In thinking, - keep to the simple. In conflict, - be fair and generous. In governing, - don't try to control. In work, - do what you enjoy. In family life, - be completely present. In love, - don't jump to quick conclusions...
great photos!
