  1. Just warming up Steven! Glebe's hills will pale into veritable molehills in comparison with the foot-hills of Everest, where, heaven-help-me, I'm heading in 8 weeks... so I'm ploughing up Wigram road daily and doing runs up and down any available stair-cases... your stories of cycling and travel are inspirational to me as I go about my training.

  3. Hey Meme, yes, working up to the fully laden back-pack... we will have porters, but need to carry a day-pack... at the moment I'm working out my 'layering' of clothing so I don't get over-heated or chilled from cooling sweat! Have had some good advice from seasoned Nepali trekkers, re wearing wool, not cotton, so this morning's effort was a great improvement! The shoes are working out a dream!

  4. Lovely images. You have a good eye for composition. The XZ-1 looks like it produces those nice Oly colors. I'm very tempted to take the plunge for the camera.

  6. Finally found an XZ-1 at a reasonable price - at B&H in NYC. Sold my E-PL1 and lenses. Can't wait to capture more Oly colors! :)
